1 – Working Out Ensures Better Erections
Erections are the canaries in the coal mine as far as heart health is concerned. Sure, these particular canaries might be featherless and shaped like the mushroom character in Mario Kart, but canaries in the coal mine nonetheless.
Anyhow, if the plumbing of your heart and vascular system in general is plugged up, you won’t be able to achieve the hydraulic pressure necessary to achieve an erection. It’s like one of those WWII submarine movies where all the pipes are shooting steam and the U-boat is nose-diving towards the ocean floor, only, you know, without Nazis.
Exercise should help with that. Just don’t get too fit. You don’t want to have to call an urologist because you got an erection so strong that you ended up like Pooh Bear when he ate too much honey and got stuck in the rabbit hole.
Are you a regular gym-goer or hit the jogging track daily? Keep it up as women who frequently exercise become aroused more quickly and are able to orgasm faster and more intensely, a fascinating research reveals. ‘Being physically active seems to be a potent aphrodisiac for women,’ Tina M. Penhollow, an associate professor of health promotion at Florida Atlantic University, was quoted as saying.
During a single strength workout, a woman’s body produces higher levels of growth hormone and testosterone that play a pivotal role in sex drive. According to another research by University of Texas at Austin, female study participants were 169 percent more aroused (as indicated by blood flow in genital tissue) while watching a short porn flick after 20 minutes of vigorous cycling than when they watched it without riding beforehand.
Hitting the weight room regularly keeps levels of growth hormone and testosterone higher, said …
Getting sweaty (outside the sheets) is actually a major turn-on-science says so. Studies consistently show that exercise equals a higher sex drive and better sexual function, says Mary Claire Haver, M.D., an ob-gyn at the University of Texas Medical Branch.
But, it turns out there’s actually a workout that’s best for doing exactly that: strength training.
How Exercise Boosts Your Sex Drive
First things first: whether you’re a cardio queen, diehard runner, devoted yogi, or free-weight warrior, any exercise is both good for you and your sex drive.
“If someone is sedentary and starts exercising in any form, they will see an improvement in their libido,” says Haver.
There are three reasons exercise is (literally) bangin’ for your sex life: first, if you’re exercising regularly, you’ll be feeling better, looking better, and have an all-around better body image, says Haver. Second, exercise increases blood flow both short- and long-term to …

If you told me a few years ago that I would be competing in a powerlifting competition, I would have laughed in your face.
I was an avid weightlifter and I loved feeling strong and setting new personal records in the gym, but the concept of prioritizing strength gains in my training would have seemed like too much of a sacrifice.
I just wanted to look good, be healthy, and feel like a badass on occasion… surely my well-rounded training plan was ideal for accomplishing these goals, right?
I mean, sure. It worked fine.
Here I am at the present. I was doing a lot of spinning, road biking and upper body strength training at the time and I was perfectly happy with (and even proud of) the way I looked. At some point, though, I got tired of going to the gym day after day just for the sake …

We’ve come a long way in the sport. We’d like to say, “I can do anything you can do better”, but the truth is, physically, we are not as strong as most men, especially female powerlifters compared to male powerlifters. Males and females are just different. But that isn’t to say that one is less than the other. We’ve gotten to the point of receiving respect for our achievements in powerlifting and also the respect from our male counterparts, and our WILKS scores are pretty awesome! I came across this article that lists 20 Things Men Should Know About Women Powerlifter. It’s from the female perspective written by a man (with the help of a few ladies) with a clear respect for us and the ways we’re different, not only different from men but that we’re different from what THEY think. Hope you enjoy!!
