Lift! Lift! Lift!
As the only girl in my family with 5 brothers, I always had to prove myself to my parents.
My parents were always proud of my brothers, as they have achieved a lot in all sorts of sports. Basketball, baseball, boxing, you name it, they were good at it. Being the cheerleader on the side bored me to death.
One day, I was invited to the gym by one of my brothers. He asked me to spot for him. This was the exact day I found out that I can lift.
I was anxious at first since powerlifting has been known to be a man’s hobby. Then I met my boyfriend in the gym, and he taught me everything that I need to know. Powerlifting and sex huh? It might sound weird but I bet my bottom dollar this works!
Powerlifting is much more than a workout. It is training for a specific and simple purpose: to improve the most you can lift in the squat, bench press, and deadlift.
Men would say women are only into girly stuff, like shopping, dressing up, putting on make-up, etc. You don’t agree, right?
My name is Claire and this site is dedicated to powerlifting women. Through these articles, I will share with you how I was able to use what I know about powerlifting to become a better sex partner!
